Fall Colors in Iowa

I made my last trout fishing trip of the season to see the fall colors in Iowa. They were beautiful! I landed the prettiest native brook trout I’ve ever caught. It was so colorful it looked fake. No monster browns were landed, but several were seen in unlikely places. The fishing was spectacular. Now is the perfect time to fish the Driftless Area. Northeast Iowa is a special place.

By the way, if anyone finds a Nomad trout net on one of the streams, please let me know.  I lost mine on Sunday.
